Department Introduction
- Department Introduction : Based on the basic knowledge of machinery and automotive electrical and electronics, students will acquire specialized knowledge of the structure and characteristics of automobiles and maintenance skills to perform tasks such as automobile maintenance and inspection, design, and management and train specialized technicians to maintain future automobiles. These include eco-friendly and autonomous vehicles based on information and communication technology (ICT) and artificial intelligence (AI).
- About the Major : In the first year, students complete standard courses for automotive majors, and in the second year, students select and complete more specialized majors that suit their aptitudes.
- [Technician Major] Based on automotive engineering, students learn the overall theory of the structure and principles of automobiles and develop the ability to identify and maintain the condition of vehicles, such as diagnostic and preventive maintenance and high-tech fault diagnosis, by utilizing maintenance tools and measurement equipment.
- [Service Advisor Major]Based on the ability to combine automotive expertise and practical skills, students will develop the ability to manage the overall service process, including customer response, explanation and action on vehicle repair requests, warranty repair and inspection of vehicles, explanation of maintenance history, customer satisfaction management, after-sales marketing, and customer follow-up.
