Department Introduction
In preparation for Japan-related business tasks such as trade, tourism services, and cultural exchanges, the Department of Business Japanese systematically operates a competency-based major curriculum to acquire practice-oriented Japanese. In addition, it also provides job training in digital-based trade, logistics, and tourism to foster Japanese professionals with core competencies and international perspectives required by the future society of the 21st century.
Educational Objectives
While growing the aptitudes, character, and core competencies required by society and industry in the era of globalization and the 4th Industrial Revolution, students will develop practical Japanese language skills and an understanding of Japanese society. In addition, students will acquire ICT-based job skills to competently perform Japan-related tasks such as trade, tourism, and culture.

- Digital Practical Skills Education - Educating students to successfully adapt to the digital era's society and work environment and acquire competent digital-based work capabilities.
- Specialized Occupational Education - Promoting specialized occupational education associated with high value-added service industries such as culture, trade, and tourism services as national new growth engines.
- Operating Career and Employment Coaching Programs - Providing guidance and management of students' careers and employment through the Career Guidance Program, led by industry leaders and experts in trade, tourism, culture, etc.
- Creating Open Community Culture via Departmental E-newsletters - Creating a community culture where students, professors, alumni, and parents communicate through the department's e-newsletters.
